PAUL DAVIES
Caerau
Maesteg Town Council
Paul was brought up in Caerau and has always lived there. He spent nine and a half years in the Merchant Navy, after retraining, he then started work for Neath Port Talbot council, where he remains till this day, he has represented the Nantyffyllon Ward at Maesteg Town Council for the past few years.

ANDREW JAMES
Caerau
Maesteg Town Council
Andrew has lived in Caerau all his life. He trained as a Carpenter, but had a change of career, he currently works at Caerau Primary School. He founded Caerau Community Growers, which is now a place for healthy activity and education for the community.

ROB LEWIS
Nantyffyllon
Maesteg Town Council
Robert has lived in Nantyfyllon for the last twenty five years, is married to Helen, and they have a daughter, Madelaine. Robert works in specialist health services for ABMU, and if elected, is looking forward to contributing in this time of enforced austerity to moving Maesteg Town Council onward into the twenty first century.

Fadhel had been the owner of the Valley Café in Commercial Street since 1995, which he now lets, and has brought his family up in Maesteg, he has been involved fundraising for the food banks and cares about the community and its surroundings.

RICHARD COLLINS
Maesteg West
Maesteg Town Council
Richard joined the family business – Travella – in 1984.  He is married to Margaret and is one of the founding members of the Garnwen Trust, set up in memory of their son Alex and his girlfriend, Bethan.  Richard lives in Neath Road.  He is passionate about Maesteg and the wider community in the Llynfi Valley.

ROSEMARY MARTIN
Maesteg West
Maesteg Town Council
Born and bred in Maesteg, Rosemary worked in the advice sector for 25 years. She understands the community’s problems; she has and will work tirelessly for people. A mother and trade unionist she believes in equality for all.

HARRY DAVIES
Cwmfelin
Llangynwyd Middle Community Council
Harry lives in Cwmfelin. He was one of the very first pupils to attend YGGLlangynwyd. Currently, Harry works as a parliamentary assistant, and previously as a teaching assistant and for Test, Trace and Protect. in 2019, Harry joined the community council becoming the youngest councillor across Bridgend.

RUBAN PARARAJASINGHAM
Pontrhydycyff
Llangynwyd Middle Community Council
Ruban is a member of village hall committee. He has lived in Llangynwyd since 2004. He owns Llan Minimarket and has a degree in Civil Engineering. He regularly sponsors Llan rangers football club and is a member of the Maesteg branch of the Rotary club. He is a governor at Llangynwyd Primary School and the Tamil arts culture school.
